For many years, I lived in constant forward motion.
Military service. Corporate leadership. Community work. From the outside, I was disciplined and focused. Internally, my nervous system rarely slowed down. I could perform, but I wasn't regulated.
My relationship with the body began early. I started martial arts at 10, and by 2004 was deep into Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong, practices rooted in breath, structure, and internal awareness.
That same year I began serving as a Combat Medic in the U.S. Military, eventually promoted to Sergeant and leading our medical unit under the guidance of our officers. My training deepened my understanding of anatomy, physiology, and how the body responds to stress. Breath wasn't philosophy there. It was practical and medically grounded. It influenced clarity, composure, and the ability to lead under pressure.
After service, I spent six years as a youth mentor and community leader, guiding young men through discipline, presence, and encouragement.
From there I moved into corporate IT, eventually leading accounts across multiple clients and time zones. The pace was demanding. Burnout came more than once. I was giving a lot, and slowly learning that steadiness is not the same as suppression.
In 2018, I attended my first Breathwork class. What I experienced wasn't dramatic. It was regulating. More patience. Better sleep. A quieter mind. A clearer sense of myself.
That shift changed how I move through life, and it's why I do this work.
In 2019 I completed formal Breathwork facilitator training in Bali. Since then I have guided sessions across the United States and internationally in Miami, New York, Denver, Tokyo, Bali, Colombia, and beyond, working with individuals privately, in groups, retreats, and online.
In 2024 I deepened my practice with 50 hours of Yin Yoga training, further shaping the stillness and structure I bring to every session.
While languages and cultures differ, the breath is universal. It meets each person exactly where they are.
If this feels like the right next step, reach out. I would be glad to hear from you.
